Introduction to Vedic Maths

To learn about Mathematics you can be guided by two questions: what are numbers and how do they work? The first of these questions is much harder to answer than the second and you should keep a question like this in your heart for a long time.

Vedic Mathematics helps show how numbers work. This brilliant system comes from India and uses sixteen rules called sutras. There are also sixteen sub-sutras which help the main sutras. Each rule is short and easy to learn. They are also easy to apply and great fun. Very often you can answer a problem very quickly using one of the sutras. This blog introduces you to many of the sutras but not to all of them.

You will be able to learn some amazing methods, which are explained with examples. You can also work through the exercises and check your answers.
